Its sad that we run up against so many walls just to have any club racing or even a practice here in Vegas.
Glenn of GLARCC does a great job of running his club. Great job with inviting outside club into his. Crystal Park was always a front runner for ROAR sponsers races. Glenn is more of a people type of person, then Taylor is. Glenn club had good friendship with CP, Brought club member to the track. Keep on doing the Transportation parking lot races Glenn, my vote goes to you!! Maybe one of these days, someone will have a permanenant tracks. Like LA, they used to have three permanant tracks.

Quick note, I have been racing at the SilverBowl since 1989, make the twice yearly trip out from the RAMS, great times (for the most part). I still chuckle about Harmony Racing. So fitting.
First let me say I had no intention to fan the flames. That being said this thread has been very insightful. I would hate to go with high expectations only to be let down. Here's what I got so far:

1 Must be a ROAR member.
Not a problem.

2 Must contact Taylor to use track.
OK

3 Drivers treat track, not managment.
So I'm traveling with VHT too?

4 I've heard the word "Dusty".
Like my favorite parking lot.

5 Track availability uncertain.
Bringing my car uncertain.

Seems like this Taylor guy has no support. That would be his problem not mine. Like I said I just want to race. I don't care if I lose or the cars falls apart but I have to start somewhere.

Me being from LA, racing at all the permanenant tracks Sun Valley, Revelations, and CP the last 4 years. Revelations to off road, CP newly closed while I moving to LV. And the Ranch Pit in Pomona years ago. Tell us more about Harmony Racing!! Cuz I dont know about it. You in Sunnyvale(San Jose area) seem you know the story!! lol!!

OOhh, GT Nationals thread is fun, but the mod keeps getting rid of the action, so when Im bored(often at work) I look at this one now.

I was at the Motonica race too, and when Rich Brown asked Rich Taylor how he was going to promote on-road racing, all Rich Taylor could do is avoid the question and change the subject.

I also heard rumors of Mr.Taylor being elected in a dubious manner, something like voting for himself more than once. There is also a rumor that he and some of his cronies were involved in getting Crystal Park closed down. This man is a cancer for Region 12 on-road gas racing, he not only needs to be kicked out of ROAR, but he also needs to be kicked out of the LV scene. Somebody that cares about our hobby of choice needs to be put in charge of the Silverbowl, the track needs to be saved.

I love the grammar and spelling in this thread the best. You can tell by reading it that 90% of the posts are from the same two people.
