That's a os LD motor. It was sold back in the 90's as a low center of gravity motor. Low HP, but it was a neat idea.

That was a good engine when th LD .15 came out the problem was over heating, it was so Low!!!!!

os ld.

powered like me sitting on my couch trying to reach for the remote to the tv. very slow and weak the nsx's body are used. crack here n there so i dont think anyone would want. but the vipers r new in package

also have a few brand new in package carbon radio plate and carbon steering thing too

Reasons that Kyosho dropped the Superten were:

1. larger than 1/10 but smaller than 1/8, hard to attract people when it's in between two scales.

2. kyosho was being handled by great planes (towerhobbies) exclusively back then, and great planes did not do good job promoting kyosho products.

3. kyosho switched focus to 1/10 on-road nitro when V-One was released, and that's why you see so many R versions of V-One lol. I do like v-one series a lot but kyosho america is hard to deal with for local hobby shop because they only got about 25% fulfillment rate.

4. kyosho cares more about winning, and you know they compete well in 1/8 world so they decided to take on Ofna's GTP approach which is making a touring version of their 1/8 nitro buggy. Actually, Kyosho had the landmax series (rally and touring) back in late 90's which evolved to Inferno GT.

from what I heard Kyosho in under section 11 = going out the door.
