Pretty Amazing...

EA noted something like 4 to 8 mm of wear in 13 minutes. With that type of wear, there could be a couple tire changes. What's gonna happen in the mains with a control tire? Will pit crew be running back to pull tires from impound? Maybe removal of the additive will help tire wear too?

But, even at that point, the track is the same for everyone, so the secret advantage is nullified.

yes, last year at 1:10 WC it was used.
A Brazilian mate who attended the 1:10 Efra-B also told us that this device was used to check tires.

I think the device was borrowed from Italian team manager (the tire additive issue became a problem in Italy recently), but I can be wrong.....

Yes I saw it and used it with my car in Tx Porter las year in 200mm Wordls and some tires had problems without using anything, the problem was the silicone spray that we used for exhaust. But they used only the first few days after I saw him no more do not know if it were in the bottom of the standings LOL
Sorry for my english

yes, EFRA's sniffer has been borrowed from the Italians and this year I thing they bought one just like that one...
But the problem is that it doesnt detect all the sauces, so it's pretty much useless. The only solution is to allow the additive or to allow just one kind of tyre for everyone, like fuel, kept in a secured place off course....

Yeah EA, kinda like the ROAR rulebook. All kinds of rules about being submitted by a date and available by a date, but all those rules can be changed, altered and/or supressed at any time depending on who needs the ruling in their favor.

Sorry, I couldn't resist.

What I heard is that Pietsch, Hara, and the Xray team were caught with sauced tires. I think they should let everyone sauce with a control additive. Calibrate the "sniffing" machine to that additive, and if anybody is using a different one, disqulify them.
I thought this was only a rumor
