i really really want Hara to win it..if he does,he will be the best..EP touring,GP offroad and GP onroad world championship..nuff said..

And how many were in the top ten BEFORE the ruling? I'll tell you, just one. In fact, the same one (Morganti).

The only driver I have seen that seems to be noticeably slower without any known problems to cause it is an Italian. And no, not Collari. He has been slow the whole time so far.

I would like to discuss about HARA situation...I know he run this WC 1/8th for fun (Really, I think he run it just the hack of it...because he is HARA, and HE CAN). Now...we don't see MUGEN DECAL on his Mugen (car body for example, HB all over it, along with ABEC35 and PF, still no mugen) nor anywhere near his shirt. He is not officially sponsored by Mugen nor HB alllow that happen. What if he did WIN the WC....I know, ppl will say HARA is the world champ, but what about Mugen, what can Mugen get? Or what can Mugen say..?

Is there any past WC in any high level RC racing that is won by a driver but his chassis is not officially sponsored that driver..? Please don't flame on me...I just find this interesting to see a driver like him with a situation like that.

Also, this might be the plan for HB...new 1/8th on road from HB, possible.....

That their car won the WC. Simple.

I could be wrong but I don't think Ielasi was sponsored by Kyosho when he won the TC crown.

Also, I believe Masami was basically a privateer when he won his first worlds.

IF that is case....then the case is settle. I didn't know Ielasi was not a Kyosho driver when he won the WC 3 years ago...nor Masami has no chassis sponsor when he won the 1st WC...

I cannot access IFMAR wall of fame..under construction for some reason.

See! Point made.

But a couple of posts down, Pietsch, Hara and the XRay team are still openly accused to have sauced their tires.

I'm glad Pietsch laid the smack down to shut them all up

As Robert R said, it was all hear say and simply bad for our hobby.

Yep, Ielasi was a privateer in Lisbon. He didn't even run his own stuff, but Picco engines and ATS tires.

Neither Kyosho nor he himself (IDM) could use this title to market their products.

Nah, I think the decision with the tire impound was VERY important, because it gave the guys the opportunity to show everybody that they are running their speed without tire prep.

Otherwise this incident and the doubt would have spoiled this title, no matter who won it.

Now it's clear, that the same guys are up front as before.

They (kyosho) didn't need to market it. In fact, I would say having a great UNSPONSORED driver deliberately choose your car out of all the others and win a WC with it is better for sales than a thousand magazine ads. Best free advertising ever.

As for the motor deal, yeah that looked kinda goofy.

i agree , but like i said.. i hope that they have a great race and nobody runs into troubles so we can enjoy this race ..
