the diff between 2052 and 2053 tuned pipes

hey all,. new to the forum,i have searched but still cant really find the quick answer im looking for,
im wanting to know the diff between the EFRA 2053 pipe eg, GRP pipe
and say a 2052 pipe ? i know they are a "ninja" pipe as such & have seen them used on & off road
reason is i have a one,a new EFRA 2053 GRP pipe and med 6 RING conical header, i have just dropped a fair bit of cash on my 1st 1/8 onroad car & .21 engine, one of the the "recommended" pipe's for my engine is a novarossi "2052" pipe,so i will more than likely grab it as IMO there is no point going the route ive gone so far to rush the final part,a pipe and header...
so im just wondering what that " 1 digit " diff on the pipe really means?
thanks

Not absolutely sure about the performance and internal construction differences? but can tell you that the external physical differences are that a 2052 pipe is slightly shorter in length than a 2053. A 2052 is also a "fatter" pipe in that the diameter is slightly larger than a 2053 especially towards the front end which has a larger dome than the 2053.
Ive heard that the 2052 gives more top end power and is not so good on fuel economy but thats usually when matched with a NovaRossi motor. So it may follow that a 2053 is better on fuel economy but not as good on top end power ? I see 2053's are used on the Ninja/GRP Motors and also have seen them on Picco's

a 2052 is desighned for small tracks it is a fuel drinker i sugest that you run a 2015 which is a 3 chamber will give you better fuel mileage and power band is much smother through the ranges.use 6 ring header hope this helps thx Ron
