Default Update

This is how the guy reply me once I Complained him regarding prices.

"The pricing area of our web site has the up to date pricing. sorry but the embed pricing is sometimes out of date especially considering the changes in the dollar and the euro."

Doggone it! That's over $75 in the difference. So, this is how they run the business...

But why quote? Can't you just phone it and buy right away?

Screw them! Price listed from the web is in USD not Euro. What are they trying to do? Smell something, anyone?

I agree with you ... with today's Web Development technology, they could have set the on-line quotes to automatically take into account the drifts in exchange rates.

Poor excuse not to do it!

ahhh, so this is how they told you the price listed on the web is outdated. What a trick!

Suggestion: Keep visiting the site, there might be a time that they would put back the old price just to attract buyers to phone in.

You requested a quote and I sent you a written quote. I appoligize that I had a mistake in the web site and I corrected it when it was pointed out but the "Correct pricing" was always available in the web site under "Pricing" where most people would look for pricing information. I'm not sure what you want from me but I have always tried to give the best service and information I can but no one is perfect. I sorry I could not meet you needs.

Well, people made mistake, of course. But, if I were a seller, I would admit the fault and sell the item at what listed on the web. Customer is happy; Seller has the business. Later, seller should do anything needed to correct the price.

Guess, it was not conducted in such a way.

I have always got good service from Robert at Ashford, very helpful and knowledgeable. He has even avoided selling me things I really did not need. Ashford is a very reliable source for the high end products I as a racer need. Thanks Ashford. Kevin Mac. NC
