Default foam donuts

Im looking at having some custom foam tire donuts made for the wheels of one of my old cars. I need to provide some dimensions to the foam cutters.

My question is should the inner diameter of the foam donut be smaller than the outer diameter of the rim? If so by how much.

thanks in advance fellers.

I checked the donuts for my pan. And they are about 3-4 mm smaller on the ID then the OD of the rim.

Cheers,
Shawn.

I'm going to give the Calendra donuts a try first.

The donut ID is about 8mm smaller than the OD of the rim. Is this too much?

I believe the rims are quite a conventional size, I measured them with a vernier caliper-

Rear Rim OD= 53.35mm
Rear Rim width= 59.75mm

Front Rim OD= same as rear
Front Rim width= 36.66mm

Here are the donut sizes

rear:
od - 72mm
id - 45mm
width - 67mm

front:
od - 66mm
id - 45mm
width - 40mm

If anyone can let me know if this will work, that would be most excellent!

Thanks dudes.
