There was never a Fox body Mustang (Years 1979 to 1993) ever vacuumed-formed in lexan. All the Mustang bodies on the market are either pre 1979 or post 1993. HPI never made a Fox body Mustang body.

No, you are right. There never was a Fox body lexan mustang body produced. HPI has produced pre-1979 and post-1994 but none during the Fox body era.

Somebody had a Mustang that was either the end of the fox era or the next model. It may have been Frewer or Xpress or some weird thing like that. A guy I raced with used one, but this is about 10-12 years ago.

Edit: Forgot about the Tamiya Cobra R

The body i mentioned before was based on the same chassis

Elite made the body, same company as Xpess/Roadrunner

That is not the Fox body Mustang that some on this thread are looking to acquire. This is actually what Ford referred to as their Fox-4 (or 4th generation) body. This body's lifespan was from 1994 to 2004. The Fox body Mustang that some in this thread are requesting is the 3rd generation and the one of Vanilla Ice fame (wrote a rap about it, "Rollin' In My 5.0"). The one pictured below is a 1986 model.

Default bad areodynamics ?

my buddies 10000lb Cummings diesel is running 11 sec quarter miles got a small fortune in it but thats besides the point areo plays no role with enough power so saying the fox bodies were not worth making bodies of because of that is nonsense these things weight like 10 pounds there isnt enough areo drag on them to even matter the fox was a box but a box full of power and i would love to see a r/c body for one as with many fox body owners into the r/c world

Team Asociated made one for the Dual Sport based on the electric RC10 and RC10 gt, but it was a SN95 model Mustang body, like the stars and stripes one above
