Default choose a .12 engine for 1/10 touring

looking for a affordable and reliable .12 engine for my mugen mtx3,
any recommendations?

The only thing that is "still like new" is the box it came in..
Only a half gallon through it my Ass!

well whats your price range? if you want the cheapest I would go with a picco, but if you want reliability for many many gallons and the fastest I would go with a Novarossi, mostly the .12 flash it is a very fast motor
super fast and Sam at Kamikaze is a good guy to buy from look at the other engines 2 they are all good, just some better than others

The Novarossi based engines are the best but also the most expensive. The OS engines are not bad. One of the lower priced engines and last a long time plus the parts are cheap if you need to replace any parts like rods and bearings.

if you want a good motor that last and still race with os is the way to got ver easy to tune, fast, and wont break the bank

But look how many orions made it into the podium? 1 and novarossi had 1st and 2nd... BTW the orion motors that they WC's get are not the same that you can buy at the store.. you can buy a novarossi at the store and it will perform jsut as good as the ones that the drivers get

im really liking my max power xxl3. but nova is a very good motor. my buddies all run nova motors modded by murnan and they fly and very reliable.

I was looking at 8th scale lostallo... but thats nice if it did win the 1/10th... I still wouldn't say to get one but thats just me... But like I said you probably couldnt get the same quality motor from the shelf like a nova

Dont say this if you do not have any experiance with it. NR has geat engines, but they are not the only ones.

PMsober, it's a engine tuned by Mario Rossi. The Boss website shows only the standard engine.
