I wouldn't be so quick to change a really good clutch system right from the start. Mugen has always had good stock clutches. Just my $0.02's worth!

I think the first best recent clutch was made by capricorn. I haven't been able to keep up to date entirely but IDM is the same and Xray/Serpent/Kyosho have their own comparable designs I believe.

In reality, unless you are faced with replacing your flywheel or something expensive just keep the mtx4r clutch and you will be ok because the others are going to cost you $100 for little benefit.

The capricorn clutch for the mugen is good but hard to come by I hear the standard capricorn clutch is good but you have to modify it to work yes capricorn has more than one clutch or you can get the exceed clutch it bolts right in and there is a noticeable difference in performance & weight

A flywheel costs about $20. If you don't have a pair of digital calipers, that's where I would spend my money. The MTX4R clutch is a very predictable clutch, when it is set up correctly. How is the clutch performing for you at the track?
