This is a good idea and works great...I've been doing it since the MRX3. Also see if you can get your servo/battery/transponder leads shorten so that you have less to pack up. Most servo brands will shorten the leads for you...cheap too.

I've got the new THS pipe on the car. I'll be officially debuting it at the Las Vegas GP in April. They may be available in stores before then. I'll let you know.

Since you guys were talking about springs, I had a couple questions maybe somebody could answer. A friend needed a shock shaft at our local race track and I gave him one and was surprised to see that both front and rear shock shafts are the same part number. But, when you order springs, the fronts are shorter than the rears. Anybody know why that is?

Also, I noticed one of Mugen's driver's setups had MRX rear shocks installed on a MTX-3. Anybody know why you would want to do that? Thanks.

All the shock on both cars are interchangeable depending on track conditions and set up(stiffer or softer) you would use different springs. The front of the car doesnt need to travel as much as the rear less dampening effects.

Here's a pic of the new THS hardcoated two-chamber pipe on my 4R. Only thing missing is the etched logo.

Awesome! Unfortunately I hear from Gabe at the shop it's gonna be a long wait till they get in. Supposedly february, now march, now april, now may! Ah well the original one seems to work fine for now. Not even sure if I'll get the tire truer this weekend as I won't even be at the track.
