HarKonnenD,

This is my understanding of the different blocks, the geometery of the 4.5mm provides a lower roll center --- this is good when the track has a higher bite and traction is up. The 6.5mm raises the roll center giving more side bite to the rear wheels --- better as traction goes down and the rear of the car becomes too loose. Loose is fast if you have the throttle finger to control it, some of the fast guys that I race with run the 4.5mm when I'm running the 5.5mm.The trade off is that I get an easier to control car and they get one that rotates throught the corner better.
The other options that also effect roll center are the rear upper arms (mugen) and the front upper arms (Kawahara).

As far as other upgrades there is are a lot of new options;
from http://www.mugenracing.com/

At the Vegas race last week most went from 5.5mm to 6.5mm to find a little more on power traction going through the left sweeper.

Good luck.
WHAT HOLES DO YOU USE WITH THE NEW SHOCK TOWERS?

Use the same ones as the one you'd use on the old shock tower, that should provide the same geometry.

Then what is the purpose of the new shock towers if they don't change the suspension geometry? Did you notice a difference on your car?

They provide the same angle but allows longer shock body and more shock oil inside. It makes the rear more stable. The front ones went the other way, it shortens the shocks overall.

I think the car has a tendency to come around. The upgrades including the new rear upper arms made it more neutral through the turn.

What's the difference between the stock chassis and optional chassis?

There are some cut outs underneath the engine in the stock chassis but not in the optional chassis, which makes the optional chassis more rigid.

Only get the option chassis if youve got a low grip track with many tight corners

Hi Ron,
What do you mean when you refer to the "wide" and "narrow" settings?
It would appear that if you kept constant the stock 263 mm track width, using the "big blocks" compared to the "small blocks" would reduce the camber change under side load and make the rear end looser; and vice versa.
What do you think?
Thanks, jack

Officially going to race 8th onroad now. I'm just going to purchase the new bulkheads, spare pinions, spurs, etc. Anyone recommend stepping down to the 16T pinion for first gear. Would I have to change anything else as well...spur wise?
