Thanks dawg. I wanted to run both cars (MRX4 & MTX4) at the WinNats, but the sedan class sold out a they are only allowing one class...damn that's a lot of people. So now the MRX4 will have to be poppin!

Guess that's another 8th onroader to the race list. I'm kinda scared about entering the track when all the fast guys jump on though. That's why I'm buying my spektrum and other gear early. When I go to the track early, it's all free for me.

Yeah I know. Took both onroads to start them up and both got upto speed pretty quickly. I think I really did have the MRX4 clutch setup improperly. With it set to stock it did seem to engage better than having it less than the recommended setting. I recall using 5 shims as well with no preload. Time to go run outside for some runs...only if it doesn't rain though. There's a lot of clouds outside now! BTW, thnx again for mentioning the turbo head button. My RB V12 Rody runs quite faster than it did with the standard head button. It's been said by RB to now be as fast as the EFRA version.

Hi there!

Which receivers are you guys using for your 1/8 Mugen in competitions?
Is the spectrum system any good, or are there better options?

I've been using Spektrum since it came out with my MRX4 and it has worked great. No glitches, hestitation or problems. The response may not be as fast as crystal based receivers, but I haven't noticed and I've been racing at the club level to the Nats. Not sure about how it works with electric though...I've heard it has had problems in carpet racing. Hope this helps.

BTW - Used it with an Airtronics M8 & M11.

I just got a second kit and they are not included--I think they will remain optional parts.

The car is 18 months old now. I would think that a Prospec kit is near. With Ti everything plus the new shocks/shocks tower and chassis. Not sure the new bulkhead is going to do much. I actually perfer the old bulkhead. In the MTX-4 they run the loose setting anyway.

Hi skipstr,

There will be an "Upgrade kit" for existing owners who would like to run the New Optionals in their MRX4s. Mugen USA is expecting to get them available by February or March.

What do the new option parts do for the handling? Shocks, and towers.
