For the best results, use the red shoe with the JP clutch bell.

Default MRX-3 lola body

Hi guys,

Just got a MRX-3 and was wondering which lola body is the best and where is the cheapest place to get it online?

I couldn't find the MRX-3 thread so I thought I would try here. Is there such a thread?

thanks

Default First Race

I got my first chance with the 1/8 scale class this past weekend running my MRX-4 and Rody Mod C5.... what a thrill it is to drive. As traction came in I was able to grab a little more throttle and man is this car fun!

I didnt try to change my set-up much but I would like some help from you guys ....

The car needed more off-power steering (couldnt get the car to "turn-in" quick enough so I could apply more throttle sooner). What are the primary first set-up changes to correct this.

Hey, what's up HarK! IT was a small get together at the Rendon RCRCNT track , about eight 1/8 cars showed up so we only had one class. I pulled out a 3rd qualifier and a 3rd in the main. Man, this car is fun to drive and the engine is flat-out fast! Hope to have some video next race!

Is this "off-season" for you? Love this Texas weather.

Yeah unfortunately at my track there's few races being conducted, but I still hope to get down there for some practice when I can. I may go to bridgeport instead as it is a little closer and there's less traffic to encounter. Another good thing is no tool booths and there's a onsite LHS nearby.

Most definately man. I'm gonna see if I can get to bridgeport tomorrow whether permitting or maybe sunday. Really nice track and if you go off the road you just slide in the grass and not boards.

Default Stock tires

Anyone found the stock tires to be really crappy for traction...or is it just me? I dunno if I can adjust the centax anymore as it looks like the adjuster nut will come off. I'll give it a whirl and see what happens.

Don't worry Joe...I'll still beat you with my Mugen X12 engine at SV lol j/k bro. I was thinking of trying out 1/8th scale racing. Looks like a lot of fun. I heard its easier to drive than 1/10th scale.

That depends. For everyone it's not easier to drive and naturally in some cases it can be more $$. However for the price of nitro sedan isn't far behind. Without a dialed in setup, 8th surely won't be easier to dial if you're sliding around.
