I have the car in permanent short wheel base mode at the moment, even on larger tracks. More corner speed and doesn't seem to suffer from a loss of stability.

By the way, has anyone tried the shorter wheelbase on any shorter or tighter tracks?
Ed, you really looked good out there on the weekend.

Welcome back

Thank you Choco. I painted it myself. No airbrush trickery, just lots of masking tape and patience.

Default $$$$$

$600 for the kit, around $600 for the motor, $120 for the pipe, and there are no local tracks large enough for 1/8. This means you have to travel to the FORGAS races to find a track large enough. This is OK, as they are fun, racing weekends away from home. It's not cheap, that's for sure. Oh, and tires-whew! $40 to $50 a set, and you need to take at least three sets to a race. Then you need spares, arms, bulkheads, gears and belts.

can't blame you there....imagine it falling into undeserving hands.....where you can't get it back even if it is rightfully yours...(and the guy won't pay for it either)....
