td-civ,

Started putting together my NT1R last night. Got the whole rear end assembled. Outside of threading the pivotball retainers into the rear uprights, it went together perfectly. So far, it is better than any car, nitro or electric, that I have assembled as far as fit, finish and quality. I think you will like the NT1 that you are getting.

I also just recently switched from Mugen to Xray, and I must say that the NT-1 is most definitely a great car hands down. The car really went together well and the quality is amazing. It's also one of the freest drive-trains around, options I'd recommend for your '08 would be any of the lightweight shafts and gear housings.

I can't really make much input on the G4 however, because only 2 guys run them at my local track and the cars perform ok but they are not really consistent.

Hope this helps

I almost have my NT1R together. Been working on it all week so far after work (girlfriend has not been too happy about it ). All I have left to do is build the shocks, reset the clutch, put on some tires and paint a body for it. I opted to put my older OS .12TZ in it (out of my retired Mugen MTX3). I have been really impressed on how well the car has gone together.
