Question on gearing options - On road vs Off road

I'm running the Kanai 2 buggy and just picked up an MRX on-road......(both off Ebay and both great deals in great shape) what # of teeth are ya'll running on the pinion for on-road 21 engines?.

I would imagine on-road runs a 16-18 tooth pinion for higher top end versus a 13-15 teeth pinion for bottom end grunt on the dirt.

Is this close? I'd like to swap .21 motors between the on-road and buggy and swap pinion gears, till I determine the best gear/motor combo.

Looks like Ofna clutch/flywheels and pinion gear bells are interchangeable and work with both chassis.

Suggestions? :p

your mrx should be running a 2 speed gearbox, as opposed too a single speed on the rallyx car
