I tried a pair of these mono tires and was very pleased.
My friend Marcos hooked me up with a set to try of 40 fronts and 37 rears. The car was pushing a little with the harder tire up front so I put on a pair of my usual fast tires in the 37 shore up front (Unfortunately Marcos didn't have any 37 front monos) and then the car felt awesome very planted(with the 37 monos in the rear and the 37 fast tires upfront). I ran these tires for a total of 40 minutes that day and only had 2mm of tire wear on the rear mono tires! With no tire chunking or the slightest wobble and the way I was driving that is saying quite a bit. For me usually the tire wear at that particular track is much much higher especially when running 37 shore tires. In fact my Mugen tends to wear the rear tires quite a bit more at this large track, but the mono rears wore down at the same rate as the fast tires I had on the front of the car, Another bonus is I did not have to true the front tires to compensate for the excessive rear tire wear. All in all I would say these mono tires are excellent tires that have great traction and low wear characteristics, these two traits do not usually coincide in tires but they did for me with the mono tires. I would definitely recommend people give these tires a try. Now if only I could find these tires more readily through local suppliers at the tracks and such these will be a hot items for sure.

Hey Shawn you forgot to say that you won your main and bumped up to the next and ran very well on the other, Im working in getting the local hobby stores in the area to carry Monotuning tires so they should be available to you and to others to use. Well good luck in the next race (Region 4 R.O.A.R Gas On-Road) in June.

if you use mono's front tires then you need to true them down coz they last even longer than the rear

I got 3 pairs of Monotuning tires. They look excelent. Can't wait to try them out this weekend. 40 shore front/back, 26mm F/30mm R. Did you cut them down before you started, say to 63mm?

John
