Default Painting

I've got a litle question about painting lightning. I think this is what I should do; 1st paint the with lightning on the body
2nd then paint the collor of the car

The problem is that I think that the lightning wil be oversprayd by the blue (collor of the car). I mean that you can see the blue throug the with lightning

Dit I get this right? And how can I prevend this?

Greetings from the netherlands...

There is a paint pen style thing that you use to put the lighting on before you paint the body. I do not know what it is, but it was in the RC Caraction magazine a while back, in Bob's Body Shop column. I am not at home, so i cannot check my magazines for you, sorry.

Draw the lightning on the inside of your body using a white china marker. then you can either paint your solid colour over top, or use a fine airbrush and highlight the lightning with a bright vibrant or pearl colour, then paint your solid background.

If you guys get a chance to use Alclad Prismatic paint, It is VERY cool, especially in the sunlight.

It's tons better than the faskolor color change paints..

This is an indoor shot, very bad image:
