I have now gone back to the original chassis as I found the balance better suited to my driving style.
And since I've started using the MG shell I have gone a lap faster with ease.

congrats bro... nice run.. i think the kyosho fw-05r kits are very competitive kits. i've read in one of the threads that the fw-05r kit beat a 710. kyosho really make great kits... keep it up bro...

Default braces

hi all.
i made the braces out of red carbon fibre....the same as the top deck..its good guality cross hatched american carbon fibre....my good friend has a cnc mill.....it works tostop the plastic from cracking...be aware not to put too much pressure on the nut..it splits very easily...not too good for kawaharra....

Sorry Mike can't agree with you on this. I've broken CVs, ackerman rod and and have a doggie twisted and bent but have not broken the stay after twigging to not doing the bolt and nut up too tight.

I know what your saying Mike, my first one snapped too easily too. It was also broken at the bolt hole, same as yours. The second one was fitted with locktight on the nut and bugger all force and have since bent hinge pins without the plastic bracket failing. I've fitted titanium hinge pins now and they seem stronger.
Oh and I think alloy would flog out too quickly.

Hey guys....

could anyone here Please tell me, if the Kawahara Center Conversion & the Full Kit have 2 different sets of center dogbones? I know the one that comes from the center conversion only was an alloy dogbones. But I just got my Full Conversion Kit and the doggies were made of steel. I bought this built and was a project - sold to me w/ no manual...by any chance Please, what are the part nos. of these steel doggies? And by looking at the doggies....the front doggy were short and the center drivecup was like moved 2mm forward just to make this to conversion work. Anything like tricks, mods for this Kit - please share.

Thanks!

The full Conversion were using two difference length of center dogbones, the longer one can direct using 710 & the shorter one can direct using from MTX3 dogbones, they are about the same length, hope can help you.
(where 710 & MTX3 the front & rear dogbones were equal length)

Hope you enjoy this car, I have gone faster with this car than anything I have had before. In fact I have not been beaten provided I stayed on the track ( been taken out) and have not had any issues with breaking. Also have set new lap and race records, awesome.
