Looks like the CD3 has hit the HK shopping shelfs...

http://rc-mushroom.com/index.php?cPa...a&filter_id=49

Comes in 3 versions so far...

CD3 Sports 90% - $245US
CD3 Sports RTR - $310US
CD3 Pro - $310US

They also have right away dropped the LD3 Pro of their books, so it looks like the CD3 will replace the LD3 completely???

I waited to long to get around to buying a LD3, so now I guess now I'll just buy a CD3 sometime in the next few weeks, now that I nearly have the cash.
Sports 90% looks the go for me, seeing as how I'll be running in .8HP limited pull start class, could be interesting as I'll probally be the only person running one at my club.

I get $38.57US postage from RC Model, and $57.82US from RC Mushroom, for their base postage costs.

RC Mushroom seem to have had some general price rises lately, but I think it could be because of some of their efforts to be a bit more reputable etc, I like that they now have the Verified by Visa etc on their site, they come across as being more professional.

Generally though, it would be nice if the pricing was a little closer overall.

Actually, the other interesting thing of note is that the CD3 seems to be selling under the OFNA banner even on the HK sites, with OFNA type packaging, which seems a little unusual, and the HongNor site still makes no mention of the new CD3, which seems strange.

I'm wondering more and more now if perhaps OFNA had a hand in the design of the CD3? (or redesign of the LD3 would be more accurate), either that or perhaps they did some exclusive deal to have HongNor make the CD3's purely for the OFNA label/brand???

It's certainly interesting that a lot of the first CD3 testing we heard about was all coming out of the USA, unless I missed something???

heres a question for the team drivers,
will the CD3 PRO kit include the ALuminium Blade swaybar kit and Aluminium lower arm holders or will these have to be purchased seperately?

Testing on the car was a joint effort. Both teams had input on the improvements made to the car.

the stock plastic ones are one of the weak points of the car, so i would reccomend them as an essential hopup for anyone who races on a track that can do some damage if you clip a board. i learnt this the hard way with my LD3

Or if someone nails you from behind (funny how some people some time not slow for a corner!), the alloy lower arm holders + alloy sway bars will make the LD3 a lot harder to "take out" , I also recommend!
