Congrats to Jeffery Lin for breaking the track record with his CD-3 last weekend at Revelation with a 19/5:11.02! His car was sick dialed in the corners!

Default cd3 pro

i have to say i think the car is great, alot of option parts for a cheap price, the first day i raced mine i had no problems with it and ended up second to car that cost 3 times as much as mine.the only complaint i have is the directions on building the car arent real good.just my .02 cents worth

Default CD3 sport

hey fellas, i have a rtr cd3 sport. i bought it on advice from my local shop owner before i realized there was a pro version. Anyways, what can i do to upgrade it to a pro spec version? or should I just sell it and get a pro spec version. This car is real fun to drive and handles great, but ofna web site doesnt list the CD3, just the ld3...is there anywhere else i can go for parts and set up advice. also, where can i get a one-way for the front. was thinking of just using 300k diff oil and locking ot front diff.
thanks

You better look again, the CD3 is on the ofna website.
cd3 pro http://www.ofna.com/cd3pro.html
cd3 sport rtr http://www.ofna.com/cd3sportrtr.html

You will need a bit to upgrade it fully, 0.8 2speed, 0.8 centax, carbon decks, one-way, 6 gear diff, 7075 chassis etc. I see your in the US so Nitrohouse should have all the gear you need.

BTW add all the "hop-ups" up and might be cheaper to buy a whole kit. 0.8 module rocks

Yes, the kits are listed on ofna web site, but under the upgrade/ hop-up parts or set up sheets there are no listings for the CD3.

i do order from nitrohose alot. i think i will sell my sport on e-bay and just buy a new CD3. thanks fellas. any other web sites i can use?
