hey.....what other method of starting, can i use on a ofna/picco .12 http://www.ofna.com/eng-picco-roar.html other than a starter box?? i realy want to put on a ofna power starter
http://www.ofna.com/start-power.html or a pull rope. is the picco .12 and the force .12 the same in the back plate area ? ie;
one-way bearing,screw pattern for back-plate?

thanks for any help

hammadown, if your going to race (and I assume you are with all the worry about droop) you don't really want to add extra weight of the power starter unit
+ it will only fits on limited range of engines.

Starter box won't cost much more then th power start unit - looking at nitrohouse pricing its a whole $5 more - and they start *all* engines.. (unless they bring a new no flywheel engine out <grin>)

the engine is going on my parking-lot car i dont want to deal with a starter-box!!!!!! i currently use the power-start on the force .12
and l-LIKE-IT-ALOT are the 2 engines the same or different at the back-plate???would the pullstarts line up or are they different?

I'm the only one at my track with an LD3 and the only one running a one way. I'm going to put a gear diff in front and want to know what oil people use in the front? I have 120,000Wt in back at present. The Mugen guys run 10,000Wt front and rear. How does the oil affect the car?

I have my CD3 Pro conversion kit on the way too

As many on the LD3 thread will tell you, the diffs need thicker oil than normal. Must be the teeth. I've used 100,000 in the rear and 300,000 (hard tto find, but not impossible) up front with good success
