Nightmare,

What are you going to do with the LD3? Did you buy the CD3 from Mushroom or Niki?

Is the HN CD3 exhaust strong material or is it weak material like the LD3 exhaust?

It's looks rather thin walled, and is very lightweight, so I don't think it would hold up to a big hit very well, kind of a wait and see type of thing I guess.

Of course the worry for me is my track runs clockwise, meaning an exposed inside pipe coming off all the fast straights, I suppose that's just the downside though of a running this type of chassis layout, I'll certainly be careful not to run any blocking lines into right hand corners.

You may need to shorten the stinger depending on your track's rules. Mine stuck out a little too far from the body. After that I recommend using JB Weld to reinforce it.

Damn fine idea, I had not even thought about doing something like that.

Yeah but the THS pipe I had on the LD3 really open my eyes, that baby is tough! it took on T-bone hits and all.. wouldn't mind something like that for CD3

I had a LD3 HN pipe squashed flat with a T-bone..

Nightmare.

If you're considering selling your THS pipe from your old LD3, then let me know.

Anyone managed to get in some decent track time yet?, I did a test fire and a quick idle around under my house (I have a huge garage downstairs), but ever since then it's been raining here now.

If I get a clear day this week I may finish my running in out at the track, but I still have a few small things to sort on the car.
For some reason I have a fair amount of run out in the clutch shaft and bell, not sure if it's a wonky shaft, pilot nut, flywheel, or who knows what else???

The Force 15S so far seems fairly good though, starts very easy, more so than the Kyosho 15 I ran in for a friend a while back, the difference in compression though feels huge.

Thanks Kevin...It was a close race with Robbie. I would pull away a little then he would close in and we kept doing that for like 30 minutes. Overall it was a good run with the CD3. The car stayed very good for the entire 40 minutes.
