Default Mugen 2609 EFRA tuned Pipe

I just got this new one piece pipe and the stinger is only 13.5 mm long. It is supposed to be legal, it even says EFRA on the pipe. Have the rules changed so we no longer have to have a stinger length of 15 mm? I got the 2 piece version and it is 15 mm long. Anyone know what's up.

According to EFRA 200mm rules the stinger length outside the pipe is 10mm minimum. I don't know if the pipe you mentioned is for 200mm or 235 though.

As currently there is no EFRA approved muffler list for 200mm.

The pipe is for .12 sedan. I normally race ROAR events.

In EFRA the stinger rule for 235mm was 15mm.
In 200mm (sedan) it is now 10mm.

So your muffler is EFRA legal. Wouldn't know about ROAR though.

By the looks it seems to be the same pipe as the Yokomo designed by M.Mielke (check it out at yokomo's web site), and it is the hot ticket used by So.Cal racers. This pipe has been rediscovered because it works very well with the latest generation of .12 engines. It dind't worked so well with the older engines.
I use it with my Sirio Evo2 and it has a very good powewrband overall.
