Default Splitting at the seams 1/10

hey guys, i made a thread because i couldnt search for "contact" and I'm also blind.

I ran contact on my nt1 this weekend, and the tires were great, grippy but started having a bit of give late into the runs.

I looked at the car, yep, foams split at the seams. In 5 minutes, there were small splits on the tires. (I ran 32F 37R, friend had 35F 37R same issues). After the main, it was getting close to a rain tire the seam was split almost the whole way around.

My friend ordered these through Ashford hobby....what should we do with the 20 remaining pairs we bought? It would be a shame to throw them out after a main, (low wear at our track).

Thanks

John

Default Splitting seams 1/8

We bought one hundred and fifty sets of Contact 1/8 tires for this season, each and every split at the seam. For more than a month ago we made a complaint to the retailer and were promised samples that would prove that the quality gotten better, so far we haven't received any samples, maybe the problem still exist?

Sounds a little extreme, but I am curious to have your situation rectified if possible. Since this is a new post of a new account I do not know who you are. Feel free to PM me if you like, so I can help with this issue. What retailer did you purchase them from?

Thank you for your concerns, I'm located in Sweden and bought the tires from a retailer in Europe so you don't have to rectifie the situation.

Default Euros

Contact Tyres has secured the two top spots at the Euros, with Dario holding the TQ and Robert a close second. They both will start in the top spot of each semi-final main tomorrow.

A new process was used with our automated system that seems now to have eliminated anymore issues.

We received some 1/8 tires from this new batch proceedure and they were tested by Brooklyn Hobbies last week-end with results showing better grip and wear!

+1, ive been through about 20 pairs of front and rears sedan tires, 35/37/40's and really no issues. Good grip and wear and tires stayed constant from new to right down to rim.

Thanks for the words. Thanks also to all the Contact supporters. The tires are getting it done as shown over this past weekend.
