If they chunk so bad why are you so bummed that you can't get them cheap anymore? You obviously ran them until the price increase, according to your post. They must not have been that bad. As far as chunking goes, no one brand should chunk more than another unless the tire comes unglued. There are many things said about foam tires on this post that I find interesting. Being a foam tire manufacturer I am privy to information that the average racer does not know. Tires have always been somewhat of a black art . I learned early that there is a lot of misinformation circulated by manufacturers and importers to differentiate their tires from the others.( Ron Paris once told me he personally knew the guy in Italy who made the rubber in his basement. I don't think anyone would believe that story today, but they did then.) My point is, be careful branding anything head and shoulders above anything else. You might be surprised where your tires come from.

They have really great grip! but throwing them away after one race turned me off them.

Let me guess what tyre (correct spelling!) maker you work for......... Does it begin with J?

LOl.... Just pulling your leg. I use Jaco 40's around our track quite a lot really now I can get them for the ame price as others

Try the Twister Tire, you wont be dissapointed. The spokes are wider than the ellegi's and stronger additionally the price is a little better. We also carry the rim in white and yellow.

Thanks

Go to S710 threads, I post the complete part number for ellegy/new serpent rims somewhere around 9 Jul 04, and the exact picture of 1/8 rims and tires was posted last week.

Aqua's are around 30 shore. Not a good gas tire, though.

Thanks, I was thinking that they were around that shore rating, I was thinking 32 greens are 30s I thought, we do alot of night racing at the local track and they still may work, it;s low tire wear surface so I give them a try.

Default GQ Tires

I`m not sure about everyone that ran GQ Tires at the sedan nats. But there was 1 driver in the masters A that qualified 7th.
Its too bad that his throttle servo striped in the warm up.

I can't be left out here! JACO had 5 drivers in the A-main including the second place finisher. We also won the 1/8 Nats last month. We are offering some very appealing deals on our tires so check with the mail order companies for more info. Shameless plug is over.
