I don't think that reedy battery from Tower will fit into your RRR.

The Xceed battery fits well and then, if you want to, you can lower the fuel tank in the car.

Any LiPo you get you'll need a regulator. Why not get a LiFe?

The Intellect LIFE will fit perfectly for v1rrr. No regulator required.

Place 1mm, 2mm or 3mm shims between top deck and fuel tank depend on how thick is ur Li-PO.

ta, i just checked with my normal nimh.. i rekon i could lower it another 3-4mm with it on... but id have to shave abit off the lil plastic middle bulkhead cos the bottom of the tank hits it.

how much difference would lowering the tank make?

An XCEED 1300mAh Lipo is only 60 grams, so the difference is 13 grams!

A Lipo regulator is 4 grams.
