Default Trinity type wing mounts

Anyone remember those purple Trinity wing mounts that used a set screw in the side to hold the wire? I was wondering if anyone knows where to get those things? I did an extensive search all over the net but can't come up with anything that resembles them.

I can't find my camera right now so I can't take pics of the one set I have.

I'm trying to imagin a wire wing set up for onroad. I found a few vintage buggy pics where a wire is used to hold the wing. If this is close to the Trinity design, I can offer a "in the ballpark" suggestion that may look somewhat decent.

I hope these links work.

Sort of. I found a pic of a friends car on my computer. The purple stand-offs down on the chassis is what I'm referring too.

If you click on the image two times you can zoom in on it.

Get some of these and tap the holes for the body clip, you can use more than one setscrew just in case you loose one.

I know what your are talking about becasue I have a set here somewhere.

Not sure where you could buy them. Maybe in a hobby shop clearance bin.

Yes, they are scratched a bit. Too many roll overs

Ok same guy, different car. This is a little better picture of the purple mounts I'm talking about. At the very front of the car screwed to the chassis. The wing mount wire comes in from the top and a set screw on each one holds the wire in place.

If nothing else I at least have some options now. LOL. It's such a simple part yet so hard to find. Tower is where I used to buy them but they don't even have them listed in the discontinued stuff anymore.
