Default Portable canopies

Who makes a portable canopie that won't fall apart after a season of use?
Looking for a 10 x 10 or 12 x 12 size.

You found an original E-Z up for $79.00??
Or a copy of the E-Z up.
Last time I checked the price of the E-Z up <the real one> a 10X10 was close to $149.00.
Pep Boys carries a copy of the E- Z up for $79.00

E-Z Up is now known as Quik Shade.

Pep Boys or Sports Authority carry them, and keep an eye out for sales.

10x10's are the standard, 12x12's are usually a lot more money.

I have a Quik shade from Pep Boys and its nothing like the original E-Z up.
Pep Boys carries two styles Quik Shade.
One 10X10 is a very light weight that angles up to the canopy to where the bottom of the leg area gives you 10x10, <not 10x10 shade area under the canopy>
The second one is a little stronger and the legs are straight up and do not angle, and this one gives a true 10x10 shade area.
I also have an orignal 10x10 E-Z up that I have owned for years from the days I was into street rods and cars shows.
The ones from Pep Boys are not even close to the durablilty of the original E-Z up. Only reason I bought another one<sense I have the original one> is that the canopy has a tear in it,but after owning it at least 18 years, the frame is still in great shape.
No comparrison in the two brands

E-Z up is one of the best 10x10 !
First up is also a good one with a vent at the top to let some heat out.
both are 10x10 square frames.
Every 12x12 i have seen with the wind does not do well.
Sam's has the true E-Z up around 79.00 to 99.99 with all the sides incase of RAIN !

You get what you pay for. With E-Z up you need to buy their Pro series or if you can afford it go to http://www.caravancanopy.com/index.php they make the best pop up's available, check out their specials and cancelled orders you can pick up a bargain.

You can check Sports Authority every week for sales. I got my original E-Z up there for $79.99 last month. I had a cheapo canopy for $40 that only lasted a month. Once the wind blew it, most of the framing bent.

Sports Authority and Modells had the E-Z up for that price. Can't beat it for sure! I haven't checked to see the price recently for this month, but winter time they are always cheap.

+1 for Caravan or the original E-Z UP.

If you do get a "copy", make sure it has braces that go from the sides to the center, connecting to the bottom of the middle pole/mast, just like the original E-Z UP. Makes for a more rigid frame.

Quick Shade canopies always seem twisty and wiggly and prone to buckling in moderate wind.

I bought a 10x10 Quest from Dick's sporting goods. It's held up but; I DO NOT recommend it. It does very poor job of blocking direct sunlight. I've believe the darker canopy's block the sun better. Mine has a white canopy
The the straight leg frame has been pretty durable.

Pass you soon...
