Looking for a 10 x 10 or 12 x 12 size.
my experience has been that EZ-up is not easy, and quik-shades are.

i used a quik-shade for several years including many soccer matches with my children. when sportmart has them on sale they are a good deal.

Caravan's are more durable, and Costco carries them this time of year. tough to beat for best quality.

i am not certain but qwest might also be higher quality.

Hello gentlemen,
I'm going to look at a used EZ-up canopy today. My question is what is the best way to determine this is an authentic EZ-up and not a knock-off. The seller said it was a authentic commercial grade EZ-up it comes with 3 side panels and the concrete anchor system all for $125.00
any help would be appreciated.

Pass you soon...

E-Z up is a brand name.
The canopy with say E-Z up on the shade.
Everyone calls them E-Z ups but E-Z up is the actual brand name

The true E-Z ups have a square leg to them, usually white in color.
The frames are held together with bolts and nylon captured nuts.
The cheaper canopies are usually pop-riveted at the pivot points, and the upper frames are a light aluminum
Kinda strange that the name would not be on the canopy. They are stitched on pretty solid.
Also the true E-Z ups have their name on the carry bag, so if the bag is missing the name tag also, there must be a reason why both would be missing the tags

Thanks for the info. I'm going to drive and take a look and see what the seller has.

If you have a 12X12 cover to sell, LMK. I know the frames get destroyed in big winds, but the fabric can survive. I've been fortunate enough to wear out my cover and the frame is still stable after 4 yrs of constant use.

Well I went look at the canopy. It was an original EZ-up Commercial grade. It came with 3 velcro side panels and four sand bags. Thanks for all the Info gentlemen. I think I got a good deal. Thanks Craig's list.
