a .12 motor is standard size for 1/10 gp cars. There are a ton of motors for that car it all depends on what you want to spend. You can spend any were from 80.00-500.00 dollars. Are you gonna be racing or just parking lot smash and bash?

I know someone that had put a Murnan RB M3 into his HPI RS4. Had to take it out because he broke everything in his transmission.

You can put the fastest engine in your car, but it probably won't handle it.

See if you can find a JLR Red Dot Evo 3. Those are really cheap and really fast for what you want.

I would get a jl .12 picco motor. They are about 200.00 bucks you can find them used for a good price. Also if you can find a OS Tz .12 those things haul ass.

Yes. I compete and thats what I run like I said .12 is standard for 1/10 gp cars. In using a .12 you dont have to modify anything to get it to fit and you wont have to worry about clearance issues. you get a good .12 motor and you will be able to beat your buddys.

If you do not have to use an .12 you can get an OS 18TZ

I believe the .18 will fit right in and as far as the top speed goes it kind of depends on your gearig. I run a .12 and my clocked top speeds on the track are about 64 mph. You can have a .12 and reach 70 you just have to gear it right.
