I have a novarossi 353 race .12, its the tuned version with a blue head from '08. I think its too much motor for my impulse, something like 1.67hp at 41,000 RPM.

good pinch, probably 6L though it. Let me know if you are interested. It is a serious engine.

Can't beat a 18TZ for simple drop-in power!

The associated pipe is ok put if you can fit this one from Vantage Racing it would be a better choice especially if you modify the motor. I have one on my V1RRR which has a .18TZ in it . I had my .18TZ on my TC-3 first with the associated pipe and the pipe held back the motor performace but when I put the .18TZ in the V-1RRR with the Vantage pipe it came alive. It is a compact pipe designed to fit in tight spaces.

that pipe will not work on a TC3. the TC3 engine points front-rear, not side-side like modern touring cars.

You are right the header pipe will not work would have to design your own header pipe which is what I did with mine. I lost most of my pictures of my Nitro TC-3 here is a rought sketch.

BEST BET WOULD BE TO CALL UP SOME OF THE ENGINE MODIFIERS TO FIND OUT WHAT THE BEST HEADER PIPE COMBINATION FOR A MODIFIED .18TZ IS.
