Default Kawahara Low Friction Belts

Has anyone had experience with the Kawahara Low friction belts. I got some and they seen less durable than the stock MTX3 belts. I have a big race coming this weekend and am not sure if I can trust them. Anyone?

Yes,

I have heard that they are not very durable indeed

Better stick with the Mugen ones just to be sure

The Kawahara belts are more than up to the job, replace them if they fray and do not use worn pulleys. A little tip, rub dry graphite into them for even less friction.

Uriah,

Where were you able to get these Low Friction Belts from?
Are they available for the Kyosho V1RR Evo Car too?
Please let me know.

By the way, nice meeting you at the Winternats and if you're
running the Sour Grapes Race, Good Luck and Have Fun !

If your worried about them. Then don't use them.
In My exp. Anything that is not Mugen Part. Is not as durable as the Mugen part. You have to finish the race first.

Default belts

I have been running these belts on the rear and side of my mtx-3 for 3 months, no probs.
At any major meeting just add new belts . no probs
Do they also make a front belt for the mtx-3 ??, if so what is the part number ?

Kickass the front LF Kawahara belt part # isK-770. Not sure if they are made for the Kyosho. Hey, it was nice to meet you too. Thanks for the input guys, I don't think I'm going to chance using them for this race.

Got any part numbers for the rest of the belts?
Or where to get them.

I know that Kawahara and Mugen are partners of sorts, now...but do you think their stuff is better than 3 Racing, and KFactory?
In what order would you put those companies, best to worst?
