Default Exceed RC Ultra 1/10 On Road Engine Upgrade?

I bought an exceed ultra a couple years ago and need a little more speed and durability. Could I put the Traxxas 3.3 from the 4tek into my car. Also what could I do to upgrade the transmission and make it more durable to withstand more power?

IMO, your'e opening a big can o worms by throwing in a 3.3. Better get a power screwdriver and a whole bunch of spare drivetrain parts ready. I doubt the car will handle the engine for long.

If you need more speed, find yourself a good pull start O.S side exhaust .12-.15 engine or a good pull start rear exhaust .12 with a manifold for a Kyosho FW-05. Definitly more power and speed than the stock .16.
