Default New to Nitro and wanting feed back.

Just getting into nitro.
For those not in the UK. there is a weekley magazine available called Nitro Racer it's by Deagostini where you get to build a KYOSHO Alpha GP2 (Nitro Racer) ,

And was wondering what people thought of the Kyosho in question !!

the car you get to build through the mag is a good starter kit for messing around with, but if your buying with the said mag i would personally save my money and buy akit outright from a good modelshop. i'm sure 4-5 quid an issue sounds ok but its goin to take over a year to build the car, and the issue with the engine in is forty quid (someone i know rang the mag and asked about this)
the end of the day the choice is yours, and i'm sure the car will be fine

Thanks for your feed back. Was allready in the process of buying it outright.

Just that you get a lot of info in the mags. But I do agree with you on the costs it's gonna take 60 issues and at 5.99 a pop plus the one of 40 quid one it works out quite expensive. (273.61)

Where I can pick up the kit from Red Bank models (sunny blackpool) for 175
