Default ZAC Foams?

I'm still pretty new to foams. I tried Nitro shoes, TRC foams, and I just got some GQ foams, but I'm not familiar with ZAC foams.

Do you have a link?

I've tried them some time ago...

They seem to be a little harder than other brand's tyres from the same shore... and be careful because, by the time I used them, they were only supplying 32mm rear tyres, thus not ifmar-legal.

now the zac tires are already sold in 26 and 30mm width......
i've never run these tires, the only impression i have is tha same than bandeira, the tires are harder thant the other brands, but i'm sure you can't go wrong with them, because mike swauger won the winternats running zac tires......
particularly, i think the best tires are the big brands, if you take a look at any race result you'll see only GRP, JACO and KAWAHARA.....there are some exceptions, like GQ tires and active tires specially at Asian races, but generally the three brands above run faster!!!!

the best tire in my opinion is JACO NITRO SHOES, it combines high performance and low wear, different of most of brands, which only make tons of grip and last no longer than 20 minutes (i.e.: TRC foams).....

I used them some last year. They were good, used the same shores as any other (GRP) tire. They have good wheels and come in multi-rings, too.

I have never personally run them but i have seen other people run them and they seem to be very good, like alljapanese rubber is. The only problem is that if you run on a boarded track the rims are quiet soft and bend pretty easily.

Agreed, but hat's the old version, yeah?
They recently changed over to a much better wheel, I believe.

They certainly might have, i'm a little out of the loop these days . But really that was the only problem holding them back and if that has been rectified then they should be a good tyre.

the Zac/Kawahara foams are excelent, good for electric. Surikan uses them on his nitro.

Where can i buy Zac Kawahara foams from? There used to be a distributor in Australia but they closed down

i know the old Zac rims where soft and they bend quite easily. The new rim design is suppose to be alot stronger supposely. As for the foam element, the best i've used. I usually use 37 through 45 depending on track conditions. A little pricey though.
