I believe Parsec sold everthing to a guy in Toronto who was going to continue production and further develop the car. I think the guy's name was Mike and the company was named Sonic??? He contacted me in the mid 90s about it.

Brad Makaric from Windsor also ran the car with Jim's help. Jordan Krupp from Hamilton picked up a used Parsec about 5 years ago to add to his collection.

Pasec also had a 235mm 10th Scale Car. One won the Canadian Nationals in Quebec City.

Hmm, Sonic sounds familiar but can't find anything when I Google it. Do you have any links or photos? Do you know the name of the 235mm car? Thanks.

I believe his name was Mike Nuenes??????????????? but I'm not sure.

I believe the 10th Scale Parsec was run by someone from Dynamic Hobbies in Ottawa Ontario Canada. Perhaps they may have more information.

Any Toronto area people know about this guy? I believe he had a display with the Parsecs at the Toronto Hobby Show in the fall of 1994 0r 1995?????

Where is this stuff hiding in Canada:????????????confused:

WOW! Mr. Elliot, great memory! It was 1995, you and I up front, I don't think there was more than a lap or two between us at the end of the 1 hour main. The two speed had backed off on me with 5 or 10 minutes to go and I was limping around in 1st gear, trying not to blow the engine on the long back straight.

I was just wasting some of my Boss' time this afternoon and Googled RC Parsec and found this thread. I had to join and pipe in because it is one of my most favourite RC memories.

I still have my 1/10 Parsec, with enough parts to build a second one. You guys are correct, Mike Nuenes got hold of the injection molds for the Parsec line and tried to start it up for a couple years before I lost contact with him. He was working out of his auto shop in Whitby, somewhere off Thickson Road.

Ahhh, the memories. Many thanks for stirring them up guys!

The initiative taken for the concern is very serious and need an attention of every one. This is the concern which exists in the society and needs to be eliminated from the society as soon as possible.

The above statement is seen to be contradictory. The situation is very critical and need an experience complainer to resolve it.
