Our race is just a local race and there is no tech at all. I am gonna have to try it to see how much of a difference it makes.

Yeah it's 40th attempt, not PPM.

Yes, 40th formula that works.

I would go to north pole for saying 40 PPM too confidently ....

Now back to topic :

I'm not sure WD40 is suitable tire enhancer for foam tires.... I think paragon or jack the gripper are the correct tire enhancer for foam tires.

BTW, I notice this situation : 1 month old used tires soaked with paragon, the used tires wont match the grip of fresh new tires. 2ndly, I also notice, paragon makes foam tires inconsistent. The first 6 minutes get too much grip, and after 15 minutes the car start skating around. So I stop using paragon on foam tires ( unless if I feel I need to ). Normally I open new set of tires and enjoy the day.

Just to let you know, some people only coat the outer 1/4-1/3 part of the tire with WD40 and not necessarily the whole thing. You can try different things and see what works best for you.

Here is my suggestion: if there is no tech or rule against tire additives in your local race, and you guys interesting about advantage brought from all the trouble"S" of using tire additives, time to read 1/12 and 1/10 pan car, and 1/10 indoor foam touring thread, to see how to use suntan lotion in SERIOUS-BUSINESS-RACING...

Suntan lotion FTW
