Default Any Ideas on what model this is?

Hey guys,

Had this car a couple of years back, been in storage for the past year or so and has been completely forgotten about, Im aiming to get back into the hobby and was just wondering if anyone could tell me what model/make this is.

I am going to go with a modded out or first model HPI RS4. The shock towers are right and the springs/sway bars are HPI for sure. I believe the RS4 was the only car to have that drivetrain layout as well.

Weren't the first RS4's belt driven? The later models went to shaft drives, but they weren't upper/lower deck designs like that. They had one piece radio trays.

The original RS4s were belt driven, so its not an RS4.

Yep

Some parts do like Kyosho, the front knuckles and front arms. But the upperdeck doesnt look like kyosho. Also, the tank is not a kyosho. I used to have a pure ten and it was belt driven, although I know they had a shaft car, but I dont think this is it. The one thing with kyoshos from back then is that they always shared parts between cars, so most all models had the same 75cc tank.

I just noticed that the front tires are mounted backwards

It might be a GV like sdphillips said.

I googled the gv and found those yellow sway bars exactly. I had never heard of them before. I also didn't know anybody besides HPI did progressive springs and powdercoated everything.

Now for the big question, who could have OEM'd that or is it another manufacturer??
