Default Novice Racers and G.T. (Buggt Based) racing

We have been asked to consider the new or "novice" racers as part of our program, The new racers are always in need of help and advice and so beginning this month, We urge the novice racers to come out and try their luck at competetion racing.

The club racers are more than happy to assist the new drivers with help and advice to make thier cars easier to drive and more fun overall. As an added incentive, we will place novice drivers in the novice class for qualifying and mains, discount the practice and race fee to all Novice racers and I will provide awards out of my own pocket to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers in all novice mains. this applies to all scales and types of cars participating in Novice Class

The G.T. Buggy Based class is something we have been trying to promote also, we welcome Nitro and electric and please spread the word that this program begins ASAP

Ok, so I did a few laps today and my car pushes something fierce! Tom says the track was not prep'd. I hope this is the case as I have no idea what to do about it.

Excellent news Glenn on helping the Novice racers with their own class. Getting new faces into our hobby is a task for all of us. Bring a friend to the track that is interested in our hobby and receive a free day of practice is a way to reward the racers that are trying to help our hobby grow. Also having volunteers that would be assigned to the new Novice racer for the day takes the fear factor out of play for the Novice and brings in the fun factor!

The 1:8th Super GT Class is in the final stages of ROAR rules for this class. Although ROAR is a bit late for helping with the development of this class, they are here now and this class has a great opportunity to help the growth of on-road racing. I have a problem with the rules limiting the cars to only rubber tires instead of having two classes that include the rubber tires and also foam tires. Better handling and faster cars would add to the growth as well. As a GQ Distributor I have both rubber and Foam for this class so in a sense I am covered. However I hear all the time from all over the USA how much drivers really enjoy the foam tire racing. In any case, this class I hope will bring new faces. If Glenn and the club welcomes these faces and these new racers have fun, they will tell their friends and we will be up and away once again!!!

Good job Glenn... you have a pm.

Can I join the club?
I have Mugen MRX-4X.

Actually, I do not have a table and chair for pit.
Can I share a table and chair who has them?

I visited one time but I did not contact anybody..

Please give me any information for club and raceway.

Thank you.

the membership apps are at
http://greaterlarc.com/joinus.html

this weekend (july 8-11) is unusual, they are hosting a 1/5 scale only 2day race.

but july 24,25 will be back to normal, 1/10, 1/8, 1/5.

as far as pitspace, it shouldn't be too hard to find somebody with extra space.

For club races there are usually around 15 maybe 20 sedans.
For the larger races, of course there are more.
Glenn puts on a great race.
