All the part's were not in the bag's as per the instuction's said and I, ( hubby) had to hand fit some part's.. Well after all that I drove it. Not being biased, I liked the 710 so much that I sold my unoppened kit, and is mailing the used one to a friend in Australia.. (Hi Sparksy..).. So once again to each his own... And once again Im taking up space... R.
Driven, yes what an awesome beast to drive. Built, not yet... Mine is on it's way.... will arrive soon. Setup.. yes.

From what I can tell from the reaction of many... This car is a pleasure to build, I agree, to each his\her own. I personnally think you got a bum deal and I would have gone to the supplier with and just about took him to pieces, if you bought something that was not complete, then that is not your problem, it is the supplier.

I dont need to defend an already GREAT brand.

Have a look at hpi, I was thinking of getting one, till I saw that on there RTR's they use motors with ABN construction, will be quicker to run in, but will die sooner too, and it is cheaper to produce, more money spent replacing... if they do this on their engines, where elso do they do this??? I am not knocking hpi, and I may buy an r40, but it will be a toy, not a racer as I will need to upgrade to race, serpent is already ready to race...

The true racer will want to tune the care, set it up how he likes it, not use snap in parts that restrict the tuning to part replacement...

From HPI site...

We have included molded adjustment shims that make dialing in the settings quick, easy and repeatable.

How do you set the car for the track if you are pro?

you leave the shims out if you want and adjust it normal....the beauty of the clips is,if you do happen the break a part, you can replace it and, using the clips, make sure the camber adjustment is exactly the same...no need to set the car back on a board....or use a camber guage..

Anytime, but I think you can teach me too, that is what it is all about isn't it? If you want to know about fuel and engines... I can help you very well there.
