I know of a cell in NC, SC, FL, AL, GA, WI, CA, and Conn. Also a few in IL. I want to hear from all of you. If anybody wants to race on an oval to see what it is like, on the 17th, we will be running Nitro Pan and Nitro Touring at the Bethany Motor Speedway. It is a 685ft track and with slight banking.

I went to my Track this weekend (Delta RC) in NorCal. And for the first time I saw them run Paved Oval Nitro Cars..... It was pretty cool. Not really my style but cool to see. I really liked the Nascar 4 Cell mod (electric) that was awesome!!! Not Nitro..... They should have a Nitro Nascar 1/10 class. That would be COOL...

I imagine you'd be going through engines pretty quick!

Default engines

Actually, engines last longer running oval. I ran one engine for an entire year, over 10gal fuel and it was still in excellent shape.

We have been running Nitro Oval and Nitro Touring oval under the GASCAR format for 3 years and it is limited to 3 port motors, %nitro that can be ran and HP is limited too. This tries to keep the feild as close as possible.

Last year we ran 500 laps at a quarter scale track in Montgomery, AL and the race used 1/2 gal of fuel and I blew 2 tires. It is so much like Nascar, we run laps not time. Pit strategy, tire and fuel conservation, it all comes in to play. Going fast is ok, but when you do that, you wear the tires down and you can only go fast for so long.

We will be in Clover racing on the 17th of April and then in June, we will be at the Sugar Bowl in Sugar Hill, GA for another race. Anybody that would like more information, check out www.gascarracing.com
