And you are looking at the wrong thing too

That plastic part may be Mugen but it's not the stock part.

It doesn't break, it pops off ... it becomes the weak link without destroying anything else. But you have to tag something hard.

In my case hard enough to break the shock shaft and crack the lower A arm, drove it back to the pits.

It is an improvement to the original part that would snap off rather easily, and you probably have all of this stuff in your pit box. Mugen Drew switched his car over sitting next to me at Homestead, told me he sent photos to Mr. Sonata in Japan

Mr. Sonata thought it was well done.

i dont know bout u guys but i never had the plastic ball end pop off every time i had a problem it was the turnbuckle snaped like a tootpick so i dont think this would solve the issue unless u put a 4mm turnbuckle to make it stronger. i think mugen should just make an alum piece that sits on top were the ball end is now that screws into the a,b,c plate that looks like the bottom of the knuckle and has the hole to put a pivit ball throu like the bottom and just make a new upper arm so u can screw the pivit ball right in problem sloved,
