MUGEN PULLEYS
CAN SOMEONE TELL ME IF THE PULLEYS WILL BE THE SAME AS THE MRX4X 26,16,18,20
#425
I have no idea but I wouldn't be surprised if they have NOT done that. The 18/27 pulley deal is something Shepherd came up with AFTER Robert left and many Shepherd drivers don't use it.

One of the changes was the overal ratio, I believe the 20/48 on the rear is changed as they have done it on the Motonica.

The rear upper wishbone was the same. The lower wishbones have a different shockmount but it would not suprise me if you can use the MRX4 wishbones with a homenmade carbon adapter to get the right schockmount.

I have been getting the same belt life on my V8 as I did on the 4x. The only reason I stripped the rear one in the main at the Nats was because I didn't replace it when I should have. I knew it was getting old but just didn't have the time or energy to make the change.

I've never stripped a belt on my Shepherd. They really do last a long time just as the Mugen belts did on their cars. I've seen the way some guys set their belts on their cars. Some guys will pop a chain if that's what they had on there. Most of the time it's the DRIVERS fault. I've NEVER gotten a bad or weak belt since I've been racing.
