I miss racing when I don't race. Trust me, the Shepherd is a really good car and I don't feel that I'm missing out on anything to be honest with you. Long before Mugen was a major name at races I knew they had a good in not Great product! I see the same with Shepherd.

After a while you will learn what changes help and which ones don't. Reading to learn is so much faster than experimenting.

The basic setup sheet that comes with a kit is very helpful in getting a new driver started, but he could improve his skills a lot faster if all these adjustments were explained to him. I think that is what Roelof is suggesting.
Yep. You can screw on the setup but you can also screw it up when you don't know which screw to turn to make it better.

The best advise I give a newbie is to SLOW-DOWN AND HIT YOUR SPOTS AT EVERY TURN. When I first started; my fastest qualifier was when my chassis was draging on the ground.
+1 when your car goes south on you it's always best to go to the stock settings & then make small tuning changes

Damn Pooh Matt is not letting up see you in a couple of days

In the Japan Nationals the MRX5 placed 2nd with Furukawa Ken driving, 12th with Toi driving and 13th with Fukuda Keisuke driving.

Fukuda almost took the fastest lap but Shimo beat him by 5 hundreths of a second!

RickV did receive and build his kit but will be driving it for the 1st time at the Europian Championship. There are not that many parts produced so he has to save the car at this moment.

About the 2-part rear end he told me the blocks were monted in a way that bending the chassis weaken the rear belt tension is not possible.
