Anyone played with the flyweights of the new clutch?

I did cut my shoes to leading (I always do) but the new clutch comes with a tailing setting and so far I see there are no leading flyweights optional with original or optional parts. RickV told me that a leading setting does not work well and that is why only tailing is used but so far I have tested I haven't seen any problem.

Hmmmm..

The same parts rotate now to the other direction. My quess is that there will be new parts soon that holes for the pins in both ends.

I am forced to drive 1/12 allready. 1/8 tests have to wait for the spring now.

Guys,

Do you encounter any issues running larger gear ratio gaps?

Is 16/50 and 20/45 an issue?

I know with some other brands, running a large teeth difference between 1st and 2nd could cause issues (ie. stripping).

It seems to mesh ok.

Thanks,

No problem what so ever at all. We run 16-20 50-48 47-45 at three of the tracks in Florida.

I drilled both holes 3mm like i would on the std clutch no issues just felt there was no need to crank the spring down as much as before

So it seems no difference but better for the spring because a lower pre-tension.

exactly did not feel any difference cranking it down the most difference between the wc & 4x clutch
The Wc does not hit hard like the 4x but the wc launces smoothly when it shifts versus hitting hard like the 4x
