I just bought NS15S5 .15 engine and it has 0.4mm head shim.
I was wondering do i need to add 0.1mm shim ? I am running 20% fuel.

Im new to engine as well and didnt know how many shims to use. I learned it from a experienced guy on how many shims to add. Its not what engine you have, its how much gap you need for every engine. Also thrust bearings that come with the car kit may be different as well so I dont think it has to do with a specific engine or kit. If you want to learn the easy way and the safest way without damaging your stuff then ask a experienced person to teach you. I couldnt figure the dam thing out with the manual that came with my car. But after going to the right person you can learn it instantly and you can ask many questions as to why it has to have that much gap.. Good Luck
