Our Nitro On-road Track is behind the Woodville Mall at 3725 Williston Rd., Northwood, OH 43619. It is on the East side of Toledo, OH.

Toledo is ~ 1 hour south of Detroit; ~ 2 hours west of Cleveland, OH and ~3 hours east of the Southern Chicago Subs.

The question is: Where have you been? We have been missing you this season.

Once again, I won't be able to make this race this year. If there was a road trip race I would want to go to, The Great Lakes Challenge would be it. I here the track is great and the people are a lot of fun. I know its my lost, but every time I cross the Ohio border my GPS takes me south to Cincy. I don't know, maybe now that Ted has posted the address I will be able to find it. (Sorry, could not help myself.)

I'm looking forward to being back up in Toledo again for the GLC. I'll have my camera gear, and we'll try to have daily updates from the track.

That link that Ted mentioned has an interesting video - a few years ago, I found someone to take me to the local airport, and spent a good bit of time endlessly circling the track, while I tried to get some good aerial views of what it was like. In retrospect, I wish I had a video camera with me as well.

Thanks to everyone who has mailed or turned in their 2010 GLC entry.

Planning ahead, we have signed up 15 rooms at the Holiday Inn Express for the GLC at $79 a night.

When you contact the hotel at (419) 215-4819, please ask for a Great Lakes Challenge room for the discounted room rate. The rooms are at this rate up to August 11th, so please make your reservations before that date.
