I've got the dark red, almost brownish springs which came with the EC kit.
Also on the track the red springs felt softer.
Saw the Brownish Red as my friends C01 has those coloured springs

So all REDS are the same right ?

I figured out my main issue of loosing a tad bit steering

I assume all the reds are the same, would make things very difficult if there would be different kind of red springs available.

Default rear dog bones too short?

in the process of building the c02
the rear dog bones are too short when running 200mm rear track.. to resolve it i had to add an oring on the diff side behind the dog bone to stop the dog bone from popping out.

$140 more than an MTX5 and they can't get that right!? poor form Germanos, poor form

Co2 racers, Capricorn sells a teflon coated rubber o ring made out of rare South African mambumbi tree rubber. Each o ring only weights 0.000000000000000000001 of a gram and improves rotational forces while also protecting your car from demons as it has been blessed by Desmond Tutu.

1 "O" ring costs only 25Euro.

Aussie Racers, Germanos has ordered 10 pairs as he likes to replace all drivetrain parts after each race day. Contact John for a pair of Capricorn Hard tuned soft light teflon o rings.

Oh I bet that if you bought the mugen by now you would had spent the extra 140 in 2nd Spur Gears and a ticket VIP to hell with all the swearing due to unfinished Races.

Tomb go back to the netball courts you do your testing on and leave this forum for fast red cars.

When are you going to sell your mugen paper weight and buy a fast car??

This is normal dependent on the wheels you are using and their offset. With some wheels it is necessary to back off the pivot balls a bit more in order to achieve the desired track width. I put a small piece of fuel tubing in the diff out-drives and did not have any issues.

Must get some of the exotic O-rings; we'll be doing 15 minutes between fuel stops if we improve the rotational forces any more.

I seem to remember that we had a car once that rear dog bones could pop out, but most drivers used have cut pieces of fuel hose in both hubs and diff outdrives to keep them pushed from moving too far in those days.

Strange though; we couldn't possibly remove a dogbone in our cars when the top camber link is connected, even if we remove the shockies.

Could you check the length of the dogbones Johnny, and I'll measure ours compare?

Kindest regards,
Lars.
